What information reaches us when you use this site, why, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do about it.

LAST UPDATED · 8 OCTOBER 2026

This policy explains how Amber Cactus Parade (ambercactusparade.com), operated by Signs & Graphics (“we”, “us”), handles personal information. We are an editorial website. We do not sell personal information, we do not show advertising, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Cookies and browser storage

This site does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Our scripts do not write anything to your browser’s local storage or session storage. Because there is nothing to consent to, we do not show a cookie banner.

If we ever add analytics or any other cookies, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before anything is set.

Google Fonts and other third-party requests

Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), a service provided by Google. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers to download the fonts, which means Google receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page’s address. We do not control how Google processes this data; see Google’s Privacy Policy for details. Apart from our web host and Google Fonts, pages on this site make no requests to third parties.

The newsletter form

The “Subscribe” form on our home page is a placeholder. It checks that what you typed looks like an email address and shows a message, but it is not connected to a mailing service and nothing is stored or transmitted. If we connect a mailing list in future, we will update this policy beforehand, name the email provider, explain how to unsubscribe, and only add addresses with the subscriber’s consent.

Legal bases

  • Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure and working, and answering messages you choose to send us.
  • Consent — for any future newsletter. You could withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — keeping limited records where the law requires it.

Who else processes data

Our web host processes server logs on our behalf. Google receives the font requests described above. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we share it with others only where the law requires.

These providers may operate in other countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. California residents may also ask what categories of information we collect; we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

To make a request, email hello@ambercactusparade.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, usually within 30 days, and may need to confirm your identity first. We will not charge for reasonable requests or treat you differently for making one. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we keep the amount of personal information we hold small. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
